The Opportunity:
You will play a critical role in producing high-quality fabricated metal components and executing specialized field installations that directly support our operations. From structural steel erection to detailed commercial carpeting systems, your diverse craftsmanship will ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of projects across the region. This is a hands-on position within a company that has offered stability and professional growth for over 30 years.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Fabricate and assemble structural metal components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes based on strict project specifications.
- Execute the safe erection, alignment, and fastening of structural steel frameworks on active commercial jobsites.
- Prepare subfloors and install commercial-grade carpeting, modular tiles, and textiles in accordance with design layouts.
- Interpret complex shop drawings, blueprints, and field measurements to produce accurate, high-quality custom metal and flooring work.
- Operate industrial fabrication equipment and specialized flooring tools to prepare materials efficiently for final assembly.
- Validate that all fabricated components and flooring installations meet company quality standards prior to project completion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by adhering to rigorous OSHA and company safety protocols.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a welder, metal fabricator, or steel erector within a commercial construction environment.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial carpeting installation, subfloor preparation, and layout execution.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, structural schematics, and precision measurements.
- Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding techniques with a focus on structural steel integrity.
- Valid driver's license and a consistent, reliable work history.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent).
- Advanced TIG welding and specialized structural steel rigging experience.
- Familiarity with commercial flooring adhesives, moisture testing, and advanced layout mathematics.

The Opportunity
You will serve as the operational backbone of our field teams, ensuring that every vehicle, piece of heavy machinery, and material delivery is synchronized for peak performance. This role offers the unique challenge of blending mechanical expertise with logistical strategy for a company that has maintained a stable, layoff-free environment for over 30 years.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Execute preventative maintenance and repairs on specialized equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers to minimize downtime.
- Direct the daily service and safety inspections for the company fleet, including sales vehicles, pickup trucks, and trailers.
- Coordinate complex inbound and outbound logistics by scheduling deliveries and managing transport company relationships.
- Administer comprehensive maintenance logs and machinery location records using digital tracking systems to ensure operational transparency.
- Organize the central metal fabrication shop and warehouse to maintain a high-standard, safe, and productive workflow environment.
- Facilitate project success by verifying, tagging, and delivering job-specific materials to foremen and project managers at various sites.
- Monitor inventory levels and bulk fuel/DEF supplies to prevent shortages and maintain continuous field operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, shop supervision, or a similar mechanical fleet role.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability to diagnose and repair diverse construction equipment and vehicles.
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, including forklifts and boom lifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple delivery schedules under pressure.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Advanced computer skills for logging service records and managing digital inventory systems.
- Prior experience in a leadership or coordination role within the commercial contracting industry.

As a Residential Lead Carpenter, you’ll bring hands-on expertise to manage key phases of
residential projects, from layout to finishing touches. You’ll work closely with the Project
Supervisor, interpreting plans to execute framing, cabinetry, and the installation of trim. Leading
by example in safety and craftsmanship, you’ll tackle punch list items, ensuring every project
meets our high standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct project layout and execution per architectural plans, designs, and
specifications. - Interpret and execute project plans/specifications to ensure precise construction standards.
- Layout and install cabinets, millwork, steel/wood stud framing, windows, and doors.
- Lead framing, drywall, taping, and acoustical ceiling installations.
- Assist the Project Supervisor with scheduling and punch list management.
- Maintain a clean, safe job site with exemplary PPE practices.
- Complete punch list items and troubleshoot as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the construction trade with a strong understanding of general
construction and terminology. - Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Self-motivated with a desire for continued learning and personal growth.
- Highly detailed with excellent organizational skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with regular attendance for 8-10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday.
- Ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems.
- Positive attitude toward project challenges, with effective time management and logical
decision-making ability. - Strong work ethic, able to handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Physical, mental, and emotional fitness.
- Knowledge of identifying and mitigating safety hazards.
- Team-oriented with leadership skills.
- OSHA 10-hour card preferred.
