- Certificate of Insurance (COI) — current general liability, auto, and workers' compensation
- W-9 — completed and signed
- EMR letter or safety documentation — if your company isn't rated, tell us and provide what you have
- Trade licenses — for any jurisdiction where licensing applies to your work
- Bonding letter — only if your trade or project type requires it

How long does review take?
We aim to review complete applications within a few business days. If something's missing, we'll reach out with a specific list rather than leaving you wondering.
Does approval guarantee work?
No. Joining our network means you're qualified and on our list when a project fits your trade, territory, and capacity. It isn't a promise of a specific job or volume.
What areas do you cover?
Most of our work is in the Chicago northwest suburbs and surrounding counties, with projects in Illinois and Wisconsin. Tell us your actual service area — we'd rather know your real coverage than have you overstate it.
We're a newer company without an EMR rating. Can we still apply?
Yes. Newer companies aren't automatically excluded. Explain your situation and provide whatever safety documentation you have, and our team will review it.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Your documents upload directly into B&C's secure document system. Tax documents are restricted to authorized staff only and are never shared outside the company.
